UCUES 2008UCI students participated in the University of California Undergraduate Experience Survey in Spring 2008. All undergraduate students aged 18 and over, who were enrolled at the University of California undergraduate campuses during Spring 2008 were invited via email to participate in the UCUES. Of the 21,535 eligible UC Irvine undergraduates, 8,6250 responded (40%). This was slightly higher than the UC system average response rate of 39% (63,528 respondents out of 162,259 students invited to participate). The Irvine campus administration of UCUES 2008 was divided into four segments; a Core set of questions that all students were asked to complete, and three thematic modules, assigned to random samples of students:
